What to bring and what to wear:Toiletries
Bring your personal cosmetics and medicine you need. Bring some insect repellent. There is no malaria in the Yangon area.
We can provide flat sitting cushions that are about 2cm thick for your use. Bring zafus or benches if you need them.
Light cotton clothing is most suitable. In the cool season (December – February), bring warm shirts and socks. Men and women are asked to wear traditional Burmese clothing: brown sarong and white mid– to long-sleeved shirt for women, sarong and white shirt for men. No tank tops, please. The centre can loan you sarongs if you do not have them. Nuns and monks have to wear their appropriate robes.
